Yogyakarta, May 13, 2026 – The Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FIB UGM) once again hosted an educational visit, this time welcoming a group of students and teachers from SMA Mazraatul Ulum Paciran. This activity aimed to introduce the academic environment and campus facilities to the students before they enter higher education.
The group’s arrival was warmly welcomed by the FIB UGM Public Relations team and campus tour guides. The event began with a brief orientation on the faculty’s academic profile, including its founding history, vision and mission, and the variety of available study programs. The presentation session was conducted interactively, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions about campus life and learning activities.
Following the presentation, the visiting participants were invited to explore the various learning facilities within FIB UGM. The tour started with the classrooms, where students could observe real teaching and learning atmospheres firsthand, and concluded with a visit to the faculty library, which serves as a center for student learning resources and scientific research.
Furthermore, the guests had the opportunity to explore other supporting facilities that aid academic activities, such as discussion rooms, learning resource centers, and educational service spaces open to students. This visit provided a concrete overview of the learning atmosphere and academic life at the university, while also inspiring the students as they plan their future educational journeys.
Through school visits like this, FIB UGM hopes that more young people will recognize the opportunities in higher education and understand the importance of available academic facilities in supporting a high-quality learning process.
