The Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FCS Computer Lab) is an educational facility at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM, which is managed by the Guided Laboratory Unit of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM.
The Computer Lab, located on the ground floor of the G Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM, has a total of 32 computer units running Linux operating systems. To ease the learning process and ensure the comfort of the lab’s users, the lab is also equipped with an LCD projector and an internet connections.
The Computer Lab at the FCS is not for personal use such as checking marks at the academic portal, browsing the internet, or typing or editing assignments. Marks can be checked using the computers next to the Office of Academic and Student Affairs on the second floor of the Poerbatjaraka Building. Students can browse the internet and edit/type assignments on the Sastro Net computers (second floor of the library).
If students groups require the FCS Computer Lab for classes or multimedia training, permission can be obtained from the Administrative Head of the FCS on the second floor of the Poerbatjaraka Building (C Building). Students must then coordinate with the Computer Lab staff in the G Building.
