SDGs 17: Partnerships for the Goals
On Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 and Thursday, February 29th, 2024, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences sent lecturers, education staff and the Dharma Wanita group to conduct Anjangsana which was part of the 78th Anniversary of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. In this activity, they made a pilgrimage to the Sawitsari Tomb, which is the grave of the UGM extended family, to remember and pray for their predecessors. Apart from that, they also had the opportunity to visit the homes of professors, lecturers and educational staff at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM who had retired from their duties.
This activity was carried out with the aim of maintaining and strengthening the existing friendship. Anjangsana acts as a sign that shows appreciation for his contribution and role when he is retired. In this case, Anjangsana is an important event which is a sign and reminder that he, who has retired from his duties, remains and will always be an important part of the big family of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
