In order to celebrate Bulan Bahasa, INCULS UGM held Kembulan Bulan Bahasa on Friday, October 21, 2022. “Mengenal Bahasa, Mengenal Budaya” or “Knowing Language, Knowing Culture” became the theme of Bulan Bahasa chosen by INCULS UGM for this event. Not only celebrating Language Month, there were also quiz competitions and decorating cones, INCULS student performances, and flashmobs which were participated by various foreign students. In addition, INCULS UGM also collaborates with the Indonesian Literature Student Family, FIB UGM, Yogyakarta Language Center, and APPBIPA Jogja.

Monday, September 26, 2022, Faculty of Cultural Sciences UGM received a visit from Embassy of the Republic of Korea. Attending the visit were Mr. Lee Kee Sung as an Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, in charge of Political Affairs. There was also held public lecture for the Department of Korean Language and Culture, FIB UGM. This visit was carried out referring to diplomatic relations between Indonesia and South Korea which have lasted for almost 50 years. It is hoped that this visit will strengthen the existing cooperative relations.
On Friday, September 23, 2022 at 09.00 WIB, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Southeast Sulawesi Language Center Office, well known as Kantor Pusat Bahasa Sulawesi Tenggara and The Faculty of Cultural Science, UGM. The collaboration is aimed to Linguistics Masters Study Program FIB UGM. The Southeast Sulawesi Language Center is currently trying to revitalize, protect, and internationalize regional languages and literature. The cooperation is expected can be a forum for the protection, development, and development of regional languages and literature.
