The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM received a visit from the Australian embassy for Indonesia, Penny Williams PMS, Monday (12/9). Present in this cooperation visit, Ms. Penny Williams PMS as Australian Ambassador for Indonesia; Mr. Tom Coghlan as Secretary I for Political Affairs of the Australian Embassy Jakarta; and Ms. Emma Bourke as Secretary I for Public Affairs at the Australian Embassy Jakarta.
This cooperative visit aims to discuss the Australia-Indonesia bilateral relationship, with a focus on the education sector. In addition, Ms. Penny Williams PMS also visited Australian students who were studying Indonesian language and culture at INCULS (Indonesian Language and Culture Learning Service), FIB UGM. UGM is one of the universities in Indonesia that has good cooperative relations in the field of education with Australia. The cooperation visit between Australia and Indonesia is expected to strengthen relations with each other and enhance existing collaborations.
