VISION

MISSION
- To provide education in the fields of the Korean language, literature, and culture, to promote the development of education, knowledge, technology, and art which will be useful for the nation and humanity.
- To develop research in the fields of Korean language, literature, and culture which can be used to support education.
- To provide public service in the fields of Korean language, literature, and culture.
- To conduct collaborations with various institutions, both within and without Indonesia, in the field of Korean language, culture, and literature to be used towards the development of education, research, and public service.
GOALS
- To produce graduates in the fields of the Korean language, literature, and culture who are moral, cultured, and innovative, have the souls of leaders and concern for humanitarian issues, and are capable of competing to make manifest the excellence of their nation.
- To produce graduates with the competence in Korean language, literature, and culture necessary to meet relevant occupational demands and develop themselves and their knowledge.
- To produce graduates with spoken and written Korean abilities equivalent to a minimal TOPIK level of 3.
TARGET
Produce as many graduates as possible who are fluent in Korean, both spoken and written; experts in the fields of Korean language, literature, and culture; and capable of conducting research in the fields of Korean language, literature, and culture through a four-year study program.
ACHIEVEMENT STRATEGIES
Classes are conducted with a semester credit system. Students are considered to have passed the course after completing a study load of 144–148 credits. These credits can be accumulated in a minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of fourteen semesters. In the first semester, a total of 22 credits can be accumulated. Afterwards, a maximum of 24 credits can be accumulated per semester. The amount of credits which can be accumulated in each semester depends on the student’s GPA in the preceding semester.
• Students’ Korean language abilities are increased and optimized through a variety of tests, tutorials, and other activities, including seminars, workshops, and community service.
• The department’s vision dan missions are the basis for the department’s curriculum, classes, and activities such as seminars, workshops, and community service.
• To ensure that the department’s goals are quickly realized, students’ academic development is followed by their academic advisers. These academic advisers are tasked with guiding and directing the students to develop themselves in accordance with their interests.
• To introduce students to the workplace, the department attempts to connect students through apprenticeships in a variety of institutions.

• Understand and comprehend the values encoded in the Pancasila and be capable of applying them in the study process and everyday life.

• Capable of conducting descriptive research regarding Korean culture.
• Capable of applying Korean culture education in the workplace.
• Capable of thinking systematically in conducting work.

• Capable of working in a team and following new developments in the workplace.
• Capable of understanding and valuing diversity, and having a tolerance for differences.

• Capable of knowing the possibilities (potential) of developments in Korean cultural studies, and having the desire to utilize said developments to increase performance and quality of living.
• Capable of writing a piece of popular academic literature on issues related to Korean cultural studies.
• Capable of utilizing the results of research and other works of Korean cultural studies.
• Capable of evenly exercising rights and obligations in the field of study.

• Have a firm stance based on logical thinking.
