The West Asian Literature Student Association is a formal student organization at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences uniting students of the West Asian Literature Department. The organizational system and format of IMABA was born from an analysis of students’ needs and modified to meet the environmental context. As such, in all processes IMABA plans/conceptualizes for all students to learn and work to meet a shared goal (the goal of the student organization).
Vision:
Improve the integrity of IMABA and establish IMABA as a department student association which is environmentally-, socially-, and culturally-minded.
Mission:
1. Creating a communicative and familial atmosphere
2. Conducting activities rooted in environmental, social, and cultural wisdom.
3. Establish IMABA as a vehicle for the aspirations and creative efforts of West Asian Literature Students.
4. Maintain positive relationships between the Department of West Asian Literature, Dean, student body, department student associations, and semi-autonomous bodies of FCS UGM.
5. Coordinate with other organizations outside of FCS UGM.
